🌈When Rainbows Forget Their Colors

By Erin Glidden

Immortalis Perspective Preface

Each article is framed through the lens of Prime Law Capitalism, highlighting subtle differences between old-world views and New World Value.

Rainbows remind us that beauty comes not from sameness, but from distinct colors shining together. This article uses that image to highlight the importance of individuality. Under Prime Law Capitalism, individuality is not the opposite of cooperation — it’s the foundation of it. Mutual value exchange works because each person brings something unique, earned, and sovereign. As you read, reflect on how individuality creates strength — and why forced harmony or collectivism always dulls the colors.

💦Why individuality matters more than forced harmony

Why are rainbows so beautiful and sought after?

The colors, of course!

And what if those colors one day began arguing?

Silly, right? Of course!

But stick with me for a moment — you’ll see where I’m going with this.

Red said to Blue: “You’re too icy. I don’t think the others should have to put up with your hue!”

Blue said to Red: “Your heat gives you a rash on your head!”

Yellow said: “Can’t we all just get along?”

Then Green told Yellow: “Your optimism’s all wrong!”

Purple said: “Great. You guys never let me participate!”

Then they all started arguing again.

Blue splashed ink, and Red got so mad he couldn’t think!

All of a sudden a brawl broke out — and Brown was all we could see.

I mention this as a way to explain why it’s important for us all to celebrate our individuality. Protect it like a beautiful rainbow, and don’t give in to collectivist views that try to force you into being accountable to anyone but you! Conscience is something you will have to answer to.
