How to Feel Good While Working (And at Other Times)

By Gage Vogt

Prime Law Preface

This article emphasizes mindset, enjoyment, and personal responsibility—principles that can enhance performance and well-being. Under Prime Law, however, it is important to ground these ideas in objective reality. Outcomes are not guaranteed by emotion, belief, or “attraction,” but are influenced by actions, value creation, and alignment with real-world constraints such as scarcity, competition, and market demand. A positive mindset can improve decision-making and consistency, thereby increasing the probability of success—but it does not replace cause and effect. Sustainable success emerges from the integration of mindset, effective action, and continuous adaptation to reality.

Have fun with all that you do. Have a fun, playful attitude. It's mindset. All time is free time because you are always free to choose, to go or not, to do something or something else or nothing else. You are free to look for the good (of those you work with, the work itself, and the work environment you are in) or not. You are free to feel terrible at work or feel better, possibly even good, even if your work environment hasn’t changed.

"You all get to play there on planet Earth, and you get to decide what you want to play, what role you want to play, how you want to play, and with whom you want to play. And it may not seem that way to you at times. At times, it may seem like you have work to do. You have this task, and that task, and this chore, and that chore. And you may find yourselves not having very much fun, and not doing very much playing. But that is your responsibility. It is your responsibility to make things fun that heretofore you have not found to be all that enjoyable.

...You can do it and remain unhappy while doing it, just trudging your way through it, or you can make it fun and enjoyable for you and possibly other people as well...

You are the one who gets to decide to make it fun, to make it enjoyable, and you get the added benefit of brightening everyone else's day, because you decided that you were going to enjoy your time on planet Earth, rather than just surviving it for as long as you possibly could... You have free will, and your free will is not just to either quit your job or stay and be miserable. There is always another choice. You always have another choice, whether you realize it or not. Sometimes it is your work to get into the right headspace, the right vibration, so that you can receive what the third choice is.

And when you have the third choice, and you are choosing it, you are empowering yourself in a way that you wouldn't have been able to if you hadn't taken that time to sit and relax and receive what the third choice must be in this situation. Remember, also, that when we say that there is a third choice, we are in no way saying that there are only three. You may find a fourth, a fifth, a sixth, and a seventh. Allow your creativity to flow. Allow yourselves to continue to receive more and more downloads, and you will be happy. You will be in joy, and you will find your lives more enjoyable.

We guarantee it, and we know you're capable of it. We know that you did not incarnate to miserably move through every single work day that you have on your calendar. And we also know that you are there to create much more than just fun in an environment that isn't inherently fun, but this use of your creativity will take you far. And there is a lot more for you to discover as you move forward on your journeys there on planet Earth. We guarantee that as well."

-The 12 Creators Daniel Scranton (shortened for brevity).

Do everything you do as an employee with a "labor of love" attitude. The more love you give to others, the more love you will feel and the more you will love yourself.

When you keep working, and you enjoy every step of the way, you will attain the success you have been looking for, it will come. I am not suggesting quitting (unless you have an equal or better paying job, or you must quit due to health, or your gut intuition is telling to).

Even if you get terminated, you must understand that something even better will present itself to you. Perhaps another job will soon present itself, or perhaps it is time to start that business you always wanted to start.

The point is, your joyous work (which is also giving) will be rewarded, it is Law.

Tip: Be the best employee you can be. Be the best employer you can be. Be the best self-employed person you can be. It's not about comparing yourself or your abilities to others, it's about being the best you can be (hint: you can always be at least a little better). Don't compete, just be the best version of yourself in your life and in your career. Being the best doesn't mean struggling - it means be light-hearted and having fun while working, while still being very focus and engaged in your work, being deliberate and creating/producing the best that you can.

“Your choices of action may be limited—but your choices of thought are not.” Abraham Hicks

The reason I say “be the best and not do the best” is because what you can do is in any given moment is limited, but what you can BE in a moment is unlimited (this is a spiritually advanced concept, but it is actually very practical PLUS prevents feeling bad about your possible or actual inadequacies of what you can do). Feel your unlimited nature, know yourself as unlimited, and your abilities to do more will improve without strain or struggle. Then you will automatically do more and better beceause you will be able to and you will LOVE IT!

For those unemployed or seeking more employment or retired

Enjoy yourself. Have fun with all that you do. Have a fun, playful attitude. Look for the good in what you do and where you are, in yourself, and in others.

Choose work that you are passionate about. When you find what you are passionate about, when you enjoy every step of the way, you will keep persisting, because of your positive persistence, the success you have been looking for will come.

Success is the progressive realization of a worthy goal or ideal. -Earl Nightengale

YOU define what is worthy of pursuing. YOU deterimine what is your ideal version of yourself and the life you want to live. You also determine when you consider yourself a success (so, why not now?).

When you align with who you truly are and what you desire — the people, money, resources, and opportunities you want and need will align with you. These opportunities didn't come by chance, nor by hard word, but by you attracting them to you. They are coming in response to the vibrational frequency you are emitting. If you take advantage of those presented opportunities and you will certainly get what you desire.

Creating products or services that are valuable others, that you also happen to enjoy making, will bring you more success, wealth, fulfillment, and joy. When you create value for others and you enjoy the act of creating it, you go beyond passion, you go to the ultimate goal of passion — LOVE!

Again, the more love you give to others, the more love you will feel and the more you will love yourself.

Success, in the fullest sense of the word, is more than achievement and money. It’s really about feeling emotionally good (joy, love, appreciation, passion, fulfillment, etc).
