The Value of Fun - A Form Of Value Reflection

By Gage Vogt

🛡️ Prime Law Preface

Under Prime Law Capitalism—where no force, fraud, or coercion governs individual thought or action—joy, play, and laughter remain sovereign choices. This article reflects the author’s personal exploration of fun as a voluntary state of being, expressed through creativity, lightness, and self-directed experience. Any metaphysical or spiritual references are presented as individual interpretation, not institutional doctrine. Readers are invited to engage freely, discern thoughtfully, and retain full sovereignty over belief and application. In Prime Law culture, even play remains voluntary.

Additional Note:

This article reflects the personal views and experiences of the contributor. Any references external philosophies are the author’s own and do not constitute official Immortalis doctrine. Readers are invited to engage thoughtfully and apply individual discernment.

What is fun itself? What is the essence of fun?

Happiness and joy are experiences common to all humans, but what is considered to bring a person joy or happiness is an effective definition of fun. Some activities are considered more fun to most people - laughter and playing are the most common general forms of fun enjoyed by almost all humans, which is what is being presented in this article.

Play

Play is about the "unseriousness" of life and that life is about pleasure (that is not to say there isn't a place for work, but that would a much longer discussion and could easily be another article). People have been programmed to believe life is serious (I was one captive). Note: It's important to be authentic, sincere and deliberate, but that is NOT the same as serious (look up the words and definitions of sincere vs serious, deliberate, and authentic).

PLAY IS A FORM OF SINCERITY IF YOU ARE A PLAYFUL PERSON OR HAPPEN TO EMBRACE AND ENJOY THE FORM OF PLAY YOU ARE ENGAGING IN.

Dancing is a form of play - even if you do it by yourself. Dancing is especially a form of play when you "letting loose" and are not doing a rigid dance or following a specific structure. "Spontaneous" dance is very good. Dance walking is a form of dancing and you can do it on the way around the house. It's so much fun!

Have fun (play) with the things you have created.

Have fun with your physical ability and body you have created. Even if you don't have an athletic or fit body, you were born with a body, so have fun with it (to the best of your ability). Make the most of it, savor every bit of this sensual-emotional experience (also known as pyschuous, this is expounded upon by Frank R Wallace, and in indirect forms by teachers such as Abraham Hicks). This will give you a greater sense of purpose and desire to live longer.

Here are some forms of play:

All sports

Free-style rapping.

Karaoke.

Word games (Scrabble, Boggle word games, also Sudoku and other games)

Several forms of jumping (such as on a jumping on a trampoline, rebounding on a rebounder, skipping, hopscotch, jump roping, etc.).

Board and card gaming (Chess, Checkers, Dungeons and Dragons, Magic the Gathering, Scrabble, Boggle, etc.).

Jigsaw puzzles and puzzles games.

Playing with pets is DEFINITELY a form of play.

Video Gaming.

Improv, Stand-Up comedy, Theatre, Charades, Role-playing, and Mimicry (acting in general)

Masturbation.

Foreplay and Sex (when done for the purpose of pleasure, not for creating new life)

Romance, particularly “ludus” love (the Ancient Greek term for playful love is ludus).

Playful Work

Lastly, dancing (especially the kind as described above).

Laughter

Laughter is something you can do all day. You can even laugh silently; then laughter is more of an inner emotional experience - it actually transcends the physical, but includes it when done aloud.

Frequent laughter is a magical cure for worry, and sometimes even fear.

There are a few ways to make laughter easier to do (they aren’t required because forced laughter still has some benefits, but you probably won’t do it as long or as often, so consider these as bonus tips):

  1. Those who laugh are optimistic, they know “this too, shall pass.” Knowing this also makes it easier to laughter.

  2. Realize the transient nature of events and how little importance of them most are, particularly in “the grand scheme of things.” A secret in life is knowing that everything will work out fine and that you enjoy the present moment!

  3. Watch funny movies, shows, comedies, and stand-up comedy.

  4. When others are laughing, it makes laughter VERY easy - join Laughter Yoga groups. The resistance is truly futile there, ha-ha!

  5. Smile, smiling is a part of laughter, so if you are having a hard time laughing, such as due to physical or emotional reasons, atleast smile and you will be on your way to laughing more.

Here is a BIG final tip: Understand the relationship between how you feel on the inside and the life you experience; it makes laughter MUCH easier.

Read the quote below for further clarity:

“As you move through your day, look for more reasons to laugh and more reasons to have fun. When you want to feel good, you do not take things so seriously; and when you are not taking things so seriously, you are not as likely to notice the lack of things wanted; and when you are not focusing upon the lack of what you desire, you feel better—and when you feel better, you attract more of what you do want … and your life just gets better and better.” -Abraham Hicks in Money and the Law of Attraction

Synergistic Relationship Between Laughter and Play

Laughter and play have mutual synergistic relationship. Fun and play makes laughter easier (and possibly more enjoyable). People who never play or have fun, rarely laugh (have you noticed this?). The more you laugh and play, the more fun you will have.

You can make anything fun by choosing a fun and lighthearted attitude while you are doing it (this even includes work; however, that doesn’t mean get sloppy, it means you still focus and do good work, but you don’t stress, worry, fume, or fuss over it one bit).

Be more fairy-like (fairies are known for being creative, expressing themselves authentically, and for being joyful).

Positive spontaneous action (doing, speaking, and focusing on what feels good in the moment) is powerful, transformative, and fun. It effectively is a form of play and is fairy-like.

The exceptions below will enlighten you more on this subject:

“If you really want to exercise your freedom, then find new ways of doing things that you have done many times before. Take liberties with your creative license. The easiest way for you to infuse more joy into your life is to make the mundane tasks of everyday living more joyous, more fun, more playful.

And you have the ability to do that. It is a choice. You can choose to see the same old task as being tedious and mind-numbing, or you can see it as an opportunity for creative expression and for the expression of who you are. You may discover that something you once believed was a chore can actually be the most enjoyable part of your day.

So how do you make it happen? How do you make this shift? You start by intending for the experience you are about to have to be more joyous, and then you ask for inspiration and ideas. And then you allow those ideas to come to you. Once you begin to put the ideas into practice, you will find that it has a snowball effect. Suddenly, more inspiration comes to you and the activity becomes more and more fun.

I suggest that you do this with a friend and also by yourself. Especially, ask the faeries for help. They are so gifted at making everything more fun. Become your faerie self, access your faerie energy, and make your life more creative, more expressive, and more joyous because that is the life you want to lead.

Personal Experience Tip: You may not be able to always put the ideas you receive into practice in the moment, however, you can write them down or save a message on a recorder or phone and THEN put these ideas into practice later, at a more convenient or suitable time for you.

Fun and Immortalis

Immortalis is one of the most fun and “happening’” places!

One of the most important concepts in Neothink, the core philosophy of Immortalis, is value reflection! Having fun is a great form of value reflection. I swear, we have fun at every meeting!

I hope to have fun with you one day!

And most importantly, may you have a fun rest of your day!
